We are currently recruiting Ward Hosts for one of Berkshire's busiest hospitals. This is a customer facing role where your people skills will be put to the test.
Working on a shift basis, positions are temporary to start with but could lead to ongoing or permanent employment. There are various shift plans Monday to Friday and also for Weekends.
As a Ward Host, duties will include delivering & collecting food & beverage from the wards, preparing for the food service by making sure that all equipment is ready, issuing & collecting menu cards then liaising with the catering team accordingly. Additionally you will also be required to deliver any other items & supplies as needed and make sure all food safety regulations are followed carefully with details recorded.
Other duties may include assisting with the food preparation & tray-setting, regenerating & garnishing food, serving food & drink in other areas, taking payments, keeping all food areas clean & tidy and reporting any issues to the supervisory team. Therefore, it is essential to have a Food Safety Level 2 certificate.
