Premier Work Support have an exciting opportunity for experienced retail staff to work as a Sales Assistant for one of our prestigious clients based Gatwick Airport.
As a Sales Assistant you would be on a salary of £16,400 per annum with 1% commission on personal sales. You would need to be flexible to work varied hours including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts may start as early as 0400and late shifts could finish after 2130pm in line with the stores opening and closing times.
As a retail assistant you must be aware of what happens day to day in the store, maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager keeping a basic image of the area. you will be processing sales, exchanges and refunds efficiently, accurately and quickly in all payment methods, Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor when required and ensure that the Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day. You would be responsible to ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive a quality service either face to face or over the telephone.
Previous retail experience and/or excellent customer service experience preferred.
You will be required to provide a current and valid photo ID, proof of your NI Number, a 5 year checkable education/employment history. You will have no unspent criminal convictions, and live within a 45 minute commute to Gatwick Airport and be able to work shifts.
