Our client an established and thriving organisation based in Basildon is looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. Working as part of a small import and export logistics team you will assist in the movement of all goods in and goods out from across the world.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with an understanding of Inco-terms, import and export procedures, good problem solving and IT skills.
The main focus of your role will be to cost and arrange UK & International transport / freight, dealing with goods in and out, checking and sending daily haulier manifests and liaising with hauliers and customers to ensure the safe delivery of goods.
Other aspects of the role will involve liaising with the admin and warehouse teams to arrange logistics, you will be sourcing transport and freight quotes, processing damage claims, checking and processing invoices and assisting with the processing of customer orders and contracts.
