Our client based in Basildon is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their large accounts team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will have good Maths and English grades (C or above or the equivalent) and be looking for a career in the accounts field. You will have a great work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Duties for the Accounts Administrator role will include:-
* Assisting with Purchase Ledger & Sales ledger activities
* Dealing with invoice queries
* Sending clients regular statements of account
* Credit control duties - chasing clients for payment of their overdue invoices within the agreed credit terms, noting on Sage the communications with clients
* Regular updates with your line manager to discuss the current debtor status'
* Answering and transferring calls to the correct department if required and taking messages if needed
* Filing accounts and general administration paperwork
Requirements for the Accounts Administrator role:-
* Previous office based experience preferred
* GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English is essential
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Keen to learn with a good work ethic
* Strong team player with a adaptable approach to work
