Our client, a successful insurance company based near Romford, is seeking an experienced Customer Insurance Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent telephone manner, as you will be speaking with new and existing customers on a day-to-day basis.
Your duties will include answering inbound calls, speaking with prospective and existing clients to obtain information about their needs, explaining features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote sales and renewals and ensuring requirements are fulfilled. You will calculate premiums and perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals.
You will need to have previous experience within a similar role, ideally within automotive insurance, however training is given to ensure you are aware of new products and services and to maintain competencies in accordance with FCA requirements.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The office is open between the hours of 8.30am to 6pm from Monday to Friday. Your hours will be worked over two shift patterns (8.30am to 4.30pm and 10am to 6pm). You will also be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays with the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm.
