Premier Work Support are recruiting for a Transport Administrator ASAP for a prestigious client based in Horley. This role will start temporary and may lead to permanent after a successful probationary period.
As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting in the transport department, dealing with customers and liaising with drivers or delivery issues that may develop along with general administration duties. Everyday duties will include, Pod filing and scanning, driver debriefing, fuel receipt filing, defect reports and updating spreadsheet, vehicle maintenance and bookings, customer service queries/requirements, driver calls/issues, returns administration and printing, podfather jobs and admin, vehicle mileage checks, admin of insurance claims, tacho downloads.
You must have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, problem solving skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ideal candidate would have transport administrative experience, good knowledge of South East and London locations would be advantageous. Strong customer service skills are essential.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.00 until 16.00 with a 45 minute break deducted daily.
