We are recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join our successful client within their tool room. This is a challenging but also interesting role, with tools ranging from a few kg to 10500kg.
The ideal candidate will be a time served toolmaker confident in repairing, servicing and maintaining the machine tools and relevant equipment using conventional machines and also EDM.
Your main duties will include building, repairing and maintaining tooling, ensuring that tools run correctly within the production area each and every time. You will be flexible and able to work independently.
Ideally you will have a knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, be able to interpret technical drawings as well as experience of using tool making equipment including lathes, grinders, EDM etc.
In addition to this, you will also assist with the procurement and troubleshooting of any tooling problems and be IT literate.
The position is originally a temporary one with the opportunity for the candidate to become a permanent member of the team after a qualifying period. The days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 5.45pm.
