Our client based in Basildon is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team on a 1 year contract with a view to possibly going permanent thereafter. This role is to start in March and the successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a similar role and good knowledge of Sage and Excel.
This contract role will involve double entry bookkeeping, purchase ledger - checking and recording both UK and EU supplier invoices and receipts for small purchases, assist with supplier's payment runs, bank reconciliations, investigation, analysis and keeping the database up to date.
You will need:-
Previous Accounts Assistant experience
Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts
Good Knowledge of Excel
To be able to start from mid-March onwards (Covid restrictions dependent as this is an office based role so the start date may move)

Salary of £20,000 - £22,000pa for a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday.
