Our established client in distribution wishes to build and expand it's internal sales team, based in Kent.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a busy sales office environment, at least two years experience in Account Management is preferable, ideally having been involved in the distribution industry.
The role will involve establishing and building a relationship with customers and expanding the sales with current companies, dealing with inquiries and orders, maximising business opportunities, following sales processes, liaising with other company departments and branches and maintaining the highest standards.
You will also ensure that all sales lead are followed up by call and report back on findings, ensure that customers terms of trading are not exceeded and that credit is controlled in accordance with the company's system of payment, identify failure to trade during monthly period and take appropriate action to re-establish the trading pattern.
The ideal candidate will be confident, motivated, a good communicator, dynamic, works well in a team, be commercially minded and have a good business acumen.
This could lead to permanent position for the right candidate.
