A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an employer of choice in Dartford. Our client is recruiting for a Part-time HR Assistant with CIPD Level 3 to work approximately 25 -30 hours per week.
You will be responsible for the following:
To assist with all HR processes and procedures throughout the company which includes recruitment, selection and retention, induction, compliance and policies, performance management, training and development.
To have an overview of all employee relations.
To understand and ensure full implementation of the company policies
To work independently and work without direct supervision on all routine matters.
Principal tasks and responsibilities:
Compiling letters and completing associated administration in relation to all discipline and grievance cases up to dismissal stage.
Monitoring staff absence and instigating action with the Manager
Update, create and maintain policies in line with current employment legislation.
To ensure that all employees have access to relevant policies and procedures, providing support and guidance where needed.
To develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with all Managers and Colleagues.
To provide timely and professional response to queries and issues raised by Colleagues and Managers.
Support the effective implementation of all agreed developments made to business structures, where applicable.
Carry out the full recruitment process, ensuring it is legally compliant - advertising, shortlisting, telephone interviews, arrange face to face interview and assessment criteria and providing feedback to all candidates following process.
Produce up to date job description, along with suitable methods of assessment and interview criteria.
Advertise current vacancies, shortlist CVs and arrange interviews.
Carrying out New Starter inductions & ensure that all new starter paperwork is completed
Update training records on HR portal
Process CSCS card application and renewal
Support the implementation of the annual pay review process.
Continue to maintain and develop current employee rewards such as pension, eye care and childcare vouchers as well as looking at alternative incentives.
Assist Directors in the monitoring of Employee Engagement, via tangible techniques.
Assist and monitor the appraisal reviews
Conduct Exit Interviews, feeding back relevant information to Directors.
Produce a monthly HR report for the Directors Meeting.
Produce a monthly report and attend the internal Matrix Meeting.
Compile ad hoc reports, when required
Complete timesheets daily and accurately.
