Premier Work Support are recruiting Ramp/Baggage Agents at Gatwick Airport to work approximately 30 hours per week.
Start date 11th June. this will be two weeks full time training Monday - Friday and you must complete 100% attendance.
We are looking for candidates who have previous loading and unloading experience (sometimes heavy loads), who are used to working to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment.
Duties will include loading and unloading baggage to and from the aircraft hold and the baggage belt by manual means, marshalling of disembarking and embarking passengers to and from the terminal building when necessary and maintaining a safe working environment
You must have a current and valid passport, along with valid work visa as necessary, proof of your NI Number (e.g. NI Card, P45 or P60), a full driving licence with no more than 6 points, a 5 year checkable history with no more than 5 work/education references, no criminal record or unspent convictions, and within an easy commute to Gatwick Airport.
You must be flexible with your working hours as shifts are variable and can be subject to change.
Full training and uniform will be provided and the role may become permanent for the right candidate depending on performance, timekeeping and attendance, together with the business needs of the client.
