Working with a market leading global food services business, Premier Work Support have fantastic opportunities for Dispatch Coordinators to join the team working on a prestigious inflight catering contract based near Heathrow Airport.
You will take responsibility for supervising the dispatch team and ensure all airline meals and in-flight products are dispatched on time according to the stringent standards required ensuring a full compliance process. You will have a background of working in a similar environment and have completed the relevant DFT approved inflight training courses.
Duties include leading, training and directing the team to meet strict deadlines, planning & coordinating all tasks, making sure that each team member is fully aware of their responsibilities and working to the required standards, making sure all security seals on all trolleys are completed ready for dispatch, checking all trolleys in line with the security process and that all trolleys are loaded according to the strict safety & security standards.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills and competencies: Previous supervisory or team leader experience gained within a food production environment, display a strong and confident personality with good communication & teamwork skills and have strong IT skills with outstanding attention to each & every detail.
This role works on a shift basis so you must be happy to work on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off working 12 hour shifts with early morning starts (3.30am) You will undergo stringent security checks and must be able to provide a full & checkable history going back at least 5 years along with completing CRC and CTC check processes successfully.
