Our client, in the Public Sector, is looking to recruit a Facilities Support Assistant to oversee the delivery of a FM support service within the organisation, in line with policies and procedures, as detailed in work schedules and as directed by the Service Manager.
Responsibilities will include planning and co-ordination of facilities services within the premises and to ensure the maintenance of service levels. This will include keeping a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety compliance requirements and proactively monitoring, evaluating and auditing the service provision to ensure that a high standard is maintained.
The successful applicant will be in charge of directing and planning essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.
The ideal applicant will be IT literate; using various databases and spreadsheet computer packages to initiate and maintain records as appropriate.
Although this position is based in Epping you will also be required to cover other offices based in West Essex, so a driving licence is essential.
Working a 37.5 hour week; either 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
Facilities experience is preferred, although not essential.
