We are currently recruiting a Business Development Representative for our client, a well established presence in the Brentwood area, specialising in fencing.
Job duties will include using the internet to identify new projects/customers and making initial contact, recording all enquiries, quotations and prospects onto the CRM system (SAGE 100); including specifiers and contractors, following up leads, dealing with incoming enquiries for pricing, following up outstanding quotes as instructed by the Sales Manager and Director whilst aiming to set appointments for the Sales Manager and calling new prospects against agreed priorities; following on from investigation.
Also, E-mail monitoring, dealing with sales related activities; sending out literature and samples as required or requested, drafting and sending letters and company information using e-letter, support with online live chat and marketing activities; such as creating case studies, tagging and filing pictures, posting on the company social media sites.
Applicants must have an excellent telephone manner, good IT skills, excellent literacy skills, excellent communication skills, previous sales experience; preferably from a similar background, the ability to work well under pressure, teamwork and have some experience in the fencing industry.
Desired skills are experience of CRM systems, experience of SAGE, experience of uploading posts on to social media sites; such as Linkedin and Twitter, experience of dealing with counter sales and own transport
Hours of work: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.30pm Friday.
