A rare opportunity has arisen for Goods In Stock and Ordering Administrator to work on a permanent basis with a long established warehousing and distribution company.

You will be overseeing the smooth flow of products into the distribution centre, making sure all stock is ordered on time against lead times. You will also control redundant stock to ensure minimal cost impact to the business.

You will be responsible for purchasing, processing orders and monitoring stock levels to ensure that they are kept to workable levels, with close attention to stock availability and minimal stock holding.

You must be forward thinking, identifying future stock demand profiles, particularly for seasonal products, to ensure enough stock is available at specific times.
You will run reports and interpret stock management reports, thus collating information with regards to a guide to what is selling and to make sure purchasing targets have been achieved.

The ideal candidate must be highly numerate, analytical and commercially aware, as well as IT literate, including excel. These relevant skills may come from a highly organised administrator, from an accounting background or from an experienced Warehouse Team Leader looking for the first step into a commercial role.

The hours of work are 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week).
