A rare opportunity has arisen with our client, a multi national company based in the Medway Towns, for a Customer Service Section Leader to commence on a permanent basis.
You will be highly motivated, have previous supervisory skills and be able to lead a small team working within the Supply Chain Department, who are responsible for UK and export sales administration.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent customer service procedures using the SAP system in conjunction with order processing and customer liaison.
In addition to this you will communicate regularly with the sales, purchasing, logistics and finance teams to maximise customer satisfaction.
Other duties include sales revenue forecasting, managing the workload of the team, preparing reports detailing sales activity and KPI's. Keeping customers informed as to the progress of their orders and dealing with any queries or issues.
The successful candidate will have recent supervisory/management experience gained within either customer service or supply chain. You must be educated to GCSE or A-Level standard, be fully IT literate and have knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
You will be analytical, a problem solver, a very good communicator and team player, working with internal departments, overseas offices and UK and European customers.
