We are currently recruiting for a Stock & Purchasing Controller for our well established company based on the outskirts of Chatham.
The main duties of the role will be to manage stock levels and reorder as necessary to ensure an excellent level of customer service is maintained and delivery timescales are met. Using Excel and a bespoke in-house system you will be dealing with suppliers, sourcing parts, proactively planning and preparing for future customer requirements, monitoring performance and resolving matters arising.
The successful candidate will work well as part of a small team but also be motivated to work alone and self manage when necessary. Along with the ability to manage several tasks at once the ideal candidate will be able to learn new skills quickly.
Good I.T. skills in MS Office particularly MS Excel are essential.
This is an office based role however you will be required to work in the warehouse on occasions.
Own transport is desirable due to location.
