We are currently recruiting for Allocators within the Cleaning Operation for one of our prestigious clients based at Gatwick Airport.
As an Allocator your duties will include managing the day to day crew allocations of the cleaners for the aircraft. You will be expected to deal with customer complaints proactively and ensure that the shift manager is regularly and accurately informed. The collation and preparation of all operational paperwork and ensuring a comprehensive and accurate handover is provided at the start and end of each shift are also an important part of this role.
The successful applicants will have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience and a proven experience gained in either cleaning, aviation, ground handling or a similar industry. You will be able to monitor and control stock and have a good working knowledge of Aviation Operations. The ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative are very important. A full clean driving licence is also a requirement for this role.
You will have good communication skills and the ability to deal with customers and staff in a positive and motivational manner. You will need a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint as a minimum.
The shift pattern for this position is 3 on 3 off 06:00-18:00 each day. This role is dependant upon the successful candidates being able to obtain and hold a full airside pass.
