Premier Work Support are working with a specialist shipping company based in Basildon who are looking to recruit a permanent Cross Trade Co-ordinator.
As the Cross Trade Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring customer shipments originating in the Far East and shipping to various destinations around the world.
Duties include:
* Data input of customer shipments
* Processing documents received from their agents
* Invoicing and daily liaison with our US office and the customers themselves.
* Devising loading plans for their customer's cargo
This is a great opportunity for someone to develop with the aim of progressing to a more senior level with additional responsibilities and challenges.
Key attributes required include:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding (Sea Freight)
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other MS programs.
* Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience in Sales / Customer Service beneficial but not essential.
Hours are: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.15pm
