We are seeking an experienced and hands on Evening Shift Supervisor/Manager with FLT and loading experience to join our team.
Shift Details:
* 3:00 pm - 12:00 midnight (ideally able to finish closer to 1:00am)
* Supervising 9-10 evening shift employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a team of pickers while actively working alongside them.
* Load and manage oversized pallets efficiently.
* Oversee the loading of 22+ lorries per evening, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Check finished pallets, verify product codes, and identify/correct picking errors.
* Use company systems to release picks and manage related processes.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
* Knowledge of packing materials.
* HGV licence (advantageous, for shunting lorries).
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Excellent leadership and people skills, with a "can do" attitude.
This is a hands-on leadership role. We are not looking for someone who prefers to remain in the office - active involvement on the floor is essential.
