Premier Work Support are seeking a Caretaker to work in a school in Manchester on a full-time, temporary basis with an immediate start. For the right candidate, there is potential for this role to become permanent.
You will be responsible for working independently to deliver services and complete daily duties. The role will involve fire alarm testing, light bulb replacements, carrying out PPMs, and managing the opening and closing of the school. There may also be facilities-related responsibilities such as touch-point cleaning and sanitising in areas including the canteen, restrooms, sports hall, classrooms, and reception. In addition, you will be expected to perform minor repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and unblocking sinks.
An enhanced DBS is essential for this position.
The working hours are Monday to Friday , 8am - 4pm.
For health, safety, and insurance purposes, you must have a good understanding of the English language, both spoken and written, as you will often be working alone without supervision.
