Premier Work Support's client are currently hiring a Sea Freight Operations Coordinator who specialises in exports for their Basildon office on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Organise Sea Freight Operations
* Assist Team Leader and Sea Freight Manager
* Handle import, export, and cross trade activities
* Complete customs declaration forms accurately
* Ensure timely operational activities and invoicing
* Maintain communication with clients and report new sales leads
* Follow up on late customer payments
* Implement and improve customer work flow efficiencies
* Provide holiday and sickness cover as needed
Skills and Requirements:
* Experience in Exports
* Knowledge of CDS system (imports and exports)
* Proficient with Microsoft packages, especially Excel
* Ability to prioritise and organise workload
* Work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible with working hours (occasional weekends)

Location: Basildon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30 (one-hour unpaid lunch)
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
