Band Saw Operative

A well established company in Medway Towns is recruiting a Factory Operative to operate the Band Saw and carry out some shot blasting on a permanent basis.

Working Monday-Thursday, 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30-13.30, 40 hours per week, previous experience of operating a band saw cutting metal or wood is advantageous, however full training will be provided.

Your main duties will include:

* Band saw operation
* Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant Technique card and Works Instruction.
* Manual Handling
* Moving boxes of castings around the factory
* Shot blasting
* Completing Job Cards
* Maintaining and cleaning of shot blast extraction and cabinets when necessary and general housekeeping
