Due to company growth, our client based in Basildon is looking for a Contract Logistics Assistant to join their busy team. The suitable candidate for this role will need previous Warehouse Management System knowledge along with strong Administration and IT skills. Any previous logistics experience or use of Cargo Wise would be a distinct advantage.
Based within an office in the Warehouse you will be involved in actioning the daily pick lists, liaising with clients regarding documentation, delivery and charges. Invoicing of jobs and liaising closely with the warehouse team to ensure the tasks given to them have been carried out within a set time frame. You will monitor and report on your clients stock rotation, use track and trace systems and complete customer stock status reports on Excel.
Essential requirements for this role are:-
Strong administrative, communication and organisational skills
Very good knowledge of Excel and Word
Previous experience of working alongside or within a Warehouse environment
Attention to detail
This is a full time permanent position working 9.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday and our client offers a competitive salary, 23 days holiday which rises with service, On-site car parking and more.
