Premier Work Support have a fantastic opportunity for a Despatch Team Leader to work at a site in Southall.

You will need at least one year manufacturing experience and have the knowledge of safe handling techniques. You will need to be computer literate and have customer service experience.

You need to be a good team player and be physically able to carry rolls up to 25kg and be on feet for much of the day. You need to be able to clearly communicate face to face, by telephone or email for any customer enquiries. You also need to have good clear verbal and written communication skills. You need to be competent with face to face, telephone and email customer enquiries.

Job duties include:

Overview of despatch and ensure goods are sent out according to customer instructions and correctly packaged.
Ensure all functions of repair and despatch take place within deadlines given by production coordination.
Main point of contact for Inspection department for all internal and external communication to customers and staff.
Deal with any enquiries/complaints in relation to despatch, i.e. respond to queries investigating goods not delivered on time or to incorrect address.
Take in any goods returned to Inspection and arrange review and any touch up required. Report to Production Office the outcome of Inspection.
Carry out wallpaper inspection and trimming as needed.
Prepare transport records, reports and answer emails for the Inspection department.
Complete fault reports and send to relevant staff.
Ensure adequate stock of materials and organise any replenishment in good time to avoid running out.
Day to day supervision of despatch staff
Motivate the team and train staff
Implement production improvements for efficiency, quality, health & safety and environmental activities.

This is a temporary ongoing opportunity with the scope of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 4.00pm - 30 minutes break. Overtime by arrangement.
