We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Client, a well established company based in Sittingbourne.
The role will be temporary initially leading to possible permanent work after a successful qualifying period.
Main duties are to assist the supervisor in managing a team of operatives and ensure clear communication with all team leaders. Setting and operating equipment/machinery in manufacturing products whilst adhering to all food safety requirements. Maintaining process weight controls and minimising product giveaway.
You will be responsible to ensure all machinery, equipment and environmental areas are clean at the end of each shift along with cleaning equipment and returning it to its correct place. Additionally you will be dealing with daily production documentation, making sure it is accurately completed.
The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi task and motivate a team. You should be able to work to deadlines and have a flexible 'can do' attitude.
Knowledge or understanding of BRC and HACCAP and working within the food industry is also advantageous.
No weekend working! The hours of work are 4 days, Mon - Thurs 7.00am to 6.00pm or Tues - Fri 7.30am to 6.30pm (41hrs per week)
