A rare permanent opportunity has arisen for a Leading ICT Technical Specialist to join our highly successful Client based in the Redbridge area.
Working within the IT department you will be responsible for the operation and administration of the company's IT infrastructure including internal networks, servers, email, Cloud Services and network security systems, including the management of hubs, switches, routers ad firewalls.
Other duties will include administration and maintenance of company's internal and cloud based systems, perform routine backups of company's internal and cloud based systems archival of files stored on the network to assist with disaster recovery, configuration and set-up of all new server systems required for the company to carry out it's activities.
You will need to assist ICT support staff in the resolution of complex issues and monitor all IT system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability as well as planning, coordinating and implementing network security measures.
To be considered for this role you will need an excellent telephone manner, experience of call logging software, good knowledge of IP addressing and TCP/IP networking.
You will also need a strong working knowledge of major networking components, network operating systems and basic computer hardware components.
Hours are 40 hours per week on a two shift rota 8am to 5pm and 9am to 6pm.
This role also offers healthcare on completion of the probationary period, Pension and 26 days holiday.
