Due to company growth a fantastic opportunity has arisen for either an experienced Ocean Import Clerk or an experienced Administrator who has a keen passion to work within the logistics industry. This is a full time permanent position that will offer you full training if it is needed. What you will need to have is good Microsoft Office skills and the drive, determination and keenness to learn that will enable you to succeed in this busy and challenging industry.
Using your fantastic communication and people skills, you will look after the daily operational needs of customers, suppliers and team members, providing them with a first class service.
The main focus of your role will be to handle daily import operations, preparing and submitting customs entries, dealing with the relevant documentation, providing quotes, uploading jobs and monitoring ETA's and keeping your customer advised of any changes.
The ideal candidate will have:-
Either previous experience or at least 5 years experience as an Administrator.
Good telephone manner and first class customer service skills.
Microsoft office knowledge and ideally previous experience of using CargoWise.
Strong organisational skills along with a good eye for detail.
