Chef de Partie
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy hotel in North London as a Chef de Partie!

Your main duties will be:

To run a Section efficiently and effectively, overseeing and developing any trainees within the Section
Assist in the compilation of orders on the Section as required.

Ensure that any food presented to guests is of a standard which befits the hotel

Work in a neat, orderly and hygienic manner, ensuring strict compliance with hygiene regulations

Work to the standards laid down and ensure the preparation, cooking and presentation of all foods reflects the professionalism of the hotel and staff.

Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, using the probes provided, and served correctly

Keep wastage to a minimum and ensure large or expensive items to be disposed of are brought to the attention of a supervisor.

Ensure that menus are strictly adhered to with special attention to item content, cooking and presentation.

When receiving goods from suppliers, methodically check items against delivery notes, ensure that meat is weighed and any deficiencies reported immediately

Pay particular attention to security and advise management of any signs of pilferage

Deal with all food orders from customers quickly and efficiently ensuring too much haste does not affect quality.

Other appropriate duties as required.
