Passenger Service Agent/Customer Service Agent
We are currently recruiting for ongoing temporary Passenger Service Agents (Check In) to work for a major Ground Handling company based at Gatwick Airport on a temporary ongoing basis.
The Role
This is a varied Customer Service Position.
You will check Passports and Visas
Weighing and Tagging Baggage
Answering questions and queries
You will also be required to work at the boarding gate, assisting passengers with the boarding process. You may have to announce delays and departures and help late arriving passengers, accompany disabled passengers or children travelling alone.
You will also be reading passenger announcements, checking passports, visas and boarding passes, visas and boarding passes, ensuring passengers enter the aircraft safely and on time, working within tight time constraints.
The person we are looking for:-
You must have a very friendly, professional and positive attitude as you will be representing the Airlines.
The candidate must be able to deliver excellent customer service.
To be able to communicate with people at all levels,
The role can be very hectic and stressful so candidates also need to be comfortable working under pressure.
This a temporary ongoing position to cover for summer 2012 and then permanent positions may become available at the end of the season for the right candidates.
Shifts and Hours:-
The hours of work will be between 20 and 25 per week,
Shifts will involve earlies, lates and weekends. The earlies starts will be as early as 0400, the latest finishes are as late as 2230, shift pattern will vary, therefore TOTAL FLEXIBILITY is required.
A full five years employment/education reference checkable history is required and a Criminal Record Check will be required.
WE ARE ADVERTISING NOW FOR OUR COURSES THAT START IN FEBRUARY, MARCH AND APRIL 2012. DUE TO THE VOLUME OF CVS WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM US WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS YOU HAVE TO ASSUME YOUR CV HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL.
ALTHOUGH OUR COURSES DO NOT START UNTIL FEBRUARY 2012 WE WILL BE CALLING SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES ASAP.
A uniform will be provided so a smart appearance is essential for this role.
