Operations Manager
Our Client is currently recruiting for a Operations Manager to work at Gatwick Airport.
You will be leading an Aviation Management Team plus a team of 80+ Drivers. With a £multi million budget, you'll plan and manage every aspect of this contract from the operation to the administration provision, From implementing the transport business plan, to overseeing all operational staff, it will be down to you to deliver service reliability, punctuality, safety and quality ensuring they meet and exceed our service levels. We'll also look to you to liaise with the client to exceed their expectations.
To succeed, a knowledge of Airside and Landside airline operations at a UK airport is absolutely vital.
An experienced line Manager, you'll bring an understanding of the road passenger transport sector.
You will need a 5 years checkable history and CRC check as you will need an Airside Pass.
We're also looking for an excellent working knowledge of all daily site procedures, health and safety regulations, working to service level agreements, employment legislation and people management practices.
Last but not least, a flexible approach to working hours is important, as you'll need to attend out-of-hours external meetings on an occasional basis and respond quickly to any "on-call" requirements.
A FULL DRIVING LICENCE IS REQUIRED.
